How long will my order take to ship / deliver?

Our ceramics studio is based in NEWCASTLE, Australia. We take great care to send the ceramics to you as safely and quickly as possible. Postage charges are additional to the retail price and calculated upon checkout.

Your order will be processed and shipped AS PER BELOW. All orders are shipped via Australia Post. You will receive an email receipt immediately after purchase and also once your item has been shipped. This email will include a tracking number.

  • Ready-made items ship within 5 business days.

  • Custom orders take 8-12 weeks to complete.​

Shipping methodS & COST

  • We offer domestic and international shipping via Australia Post.

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and weight.​

Please note that all orders are calculated by weight, per item or per combined items. Some items are a bit heavier than others, this is the nature of handmade ceramics, and this changes the shipping cost. If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to get in touch. ​


What is the cost of postage/shipping?

Postage/shipping of Mahalia ceramics is calculated by weight.

Australian Domestic postage/shipping is:

Up to 1kg - $10

1kg to 2kg - $15

2kg to 3kg - $20

PICK UP FROM Newcastle IS FREE

Can I pick my order up if I live in Newcastle?

Yes of course! Pick up is from Newcastle NSW. You can choose this option at the check out and an email will be sent to arrange a mutually convenient time and day. ​

How are items packaged for delivery?

All wrapping methods ensure that your items are safe for delivery to you.

Can I return my purchase?

Please read the item description carefully for each item you wish to purchase.

The nature of handmade ceramics each item is unique and may have slight variation in glaze colours and size from what has been pictured. Unfortunately, once purchased the product cannot be refunded.

Refunds are available only if goods are faulty or an error has been made on our part.

​If this occurs, please email mahalia.leckner1997@gmail.com and allow up to 5 working days from receipt by us of your returned goods for your refund to be processed. We will normally refund you using the same payment method that you used to purchase the goods. Please note that return postage costs are the buyer’s responsibility and will be refunded only if goods are faulty or an error has been made on our part.

What if my ordlost or damaged?

In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged, please email mahalia.leckner1997@gmail.com with a photograph showing the damage within 48 hours of receiving your order and we will replace or refund.

We are not responsible for lost items but will assist with claims if insured shipping is selected.
